OUR STORY
IA BON was founded in 2014 by friends Jenni and Josephine in Stockholm, Sweden. What began as a dream to create high-quality UV swimwear and resort wear soon evolved in an exciting new direction. Our swimwear was much loved and sold for 10 wonderful years, gaining a loyal following around the world.
Among our collections, a small selection of hair accessories and jewelry soon began to shine on their own. Our iconic bow hair tie, hair claws and timeles jewelry became instant favorites. Before we knew it, they were embraced by celebrities, royalty, and women of all ages around the world.
In 2025, we embarked on a new chapter. IA BON refreshed its focus, dedicating our passion for creativity to accessories and jewelry - always designed with purpose and care.
A WORD FROM OUR FOUNDERS, JOSEPHINE & JENNI
The idea for IA BON was born during a special time when we were both pregnant
with our first children, Olivia and Bonnie (IA BON). What started as a small project, where we handled everything ourselves, has grown into an incredible journey. Today, IA BON remains a proudly women-led brand driven by passion and a love for timeless design.
We are dedicated to creating high-quality pieces and beautiful items we love to wear ourselves and envision on our friends. Our style reflects clean Scandinavian aesthetics with a touch of personality. You’ll always find our signature golden pineapple—a subtle nod to our story—woven into our designs.
SUSTAINABILITY
Sustainability is at the heart of what we do. Many of our hair accessories are
crafted from cellulose acetate, an eco-friendly alternative to conventional
plastics. Unlike petroleum-based materials, acetate is derived from renewable
plant fibers, making it durable, biodegradable, and gentler on the environment.
Not only does it offer a luxurious, glossy finish, but it’s also kinder to your
hair. Strong yet flexible, it ensures a comfortable hold without damage.
